Mi Baobab is an initiative created by Pepa Iturriaga in Lomé (Togo) to create workshops were, disadvantaged women, can learn a trade while they earn a worthy salary. The idea is to do a home accessories line and fashion pieces with local materials and with an Occidental touch; as well as to make known the crafts of the Gulf of Guinea. All the fabrics they use (style and the one is spun by hand) are 100% cotton, silk. Mi Baobab works with different workshops and local entrepreneurs, whom they trey try to help through the production t¡fo their collections.
A percentage of the earnings it's destined to help people without resources, who require medical care and suitable education, through differents ONGs with whom they work with.
