Shijimi patchwork bag in shades of pink and brown – HOSHI × San Fabrizzio collaboration – Unique piece handmade in Spain
This Shijimi patchwork bag is a handcrafted piece created in collaboration between HOSHI (Perla Hachuel) and San Fabrizzio. It is made with scraps and remnants left over from the making of other bags, forming a unique weave that adds texture, luminosity, and a truly special character.
Inspired by the traditional Japanese shijimi bag — named after its shell-like shape — it’s lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for carrying your everyday essentials such as your phone, wallet, keys, and small personal items. Its versatile design works beautifully with casual outfits as well as more dressed-up looks.

The Story Behind HOSHI*
HOSHI* is the creative project of Perla Hachuel, who entered the world of textile design almost by destiny. A librarian, documentalist, and online learning platform administrator, she discovered Japanese sewing thanks to her friend Eriko, who gifted her a handmade azuma-bukuro. That moment sparked a passion that grew into the creation of unique textile pieces like this bag — crafted with dedication, intention, and a touch of Japanese tradition.
