Alfajar Notebook, inspired by the Granada pottery of Fajalauza.
A tribute to the traditional pottery of Granada.
This notebook is part of the new Alfajar collection, an exclusive edition created by Los Leones de Granada. Its name, Alfajar, comes from Arabic (الفخار) and means pottery, a direct reference to its inspiration: the pottery of Fajalauza, with centuries of history in our region. The cover features an original design screen-printed in white and blue on a deep green background. A contemporary nod to traditional Granada motifs, with the artistic touch that defines us. A product with a Granadan soul. The Alfajar notebook is not just a beautiful object: it's a little piece of Granada you can carry with you. Perfect for gifting, writing down your ideas, drawing, making lists, or simply enjoying something made with love, respect for the environment, and plenty of local inspiration.
Exclusive design by Los Leones de Granada, screen-printed in blue and white on a green background. Elegant, sustainable, and 100% inspired by Granada. 💙ALFAJAR💚
The Lions of Granada, a small but vibrant artistic tribe born from the hand of illustrator Olalla Ruiz, known as the Lion Tamer. This project revolves around a simple yet profound idea: to create unique and exclusive Lions, full of personality and inspired by our ancestors, the twelve lions of the Alhambra Fountain.
As we've mentioned, Olalla, the Lion Tamer, is an illustrator. From Monday to Friday, she spent hours in front of the computer, drawing on a graphics tablet. On weekends, she emerged from her studio and took her most personal work to the design and craft markets of Granada. Tired of so many pixels, she looked at her hands and saw how clean they were. She needed to return to more traditional artistic techniques: touching the materials, getting her hands dirty, experimenting with techniques, making mistakes without being able to undo them… In short, to step away from the screens. At the markets, many visitors approached her stall and asked if she had any illustrations of Granada they could take home as souvenirs. She thought about offering something from her city. Something different from everything else, and paying homage to Granada through her drawings.
