This was the first canvas that the artist Juan Díaz Losada painted for Holy Week in Granada. The Poster for the Hermandad de los Favores was made from this painting. The painting shows the Virgen de la Misericordia, kneeling, embracing to her chest the Cristo de los Favores unnailed from the cross. The artist keeps the original painting and has been exhibited on several occasions. It is one of his most recognized works and one that arouses the most interest, which is why he decided to create this series of reproductions.
